Terms and conditions

Last updated: 27 October 2026

These terms apply to the use of the Lunvi app and website (“Lunvi”). By using Lunvi, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. What Lunvi is

Lunvi is a platform through which restaurants, cafés, fast food places, bakeries and shops (“venues”) offer their unsold food at a discount, and customers reserve it and pick it up at the venue. Lunvi only connects the two: we don't sell, prepare or deliver the food.

2. Who can use Lunvi

You must be at least 16 and give correct details (name and phone) when reserving. A customer account is optional.

3. Reservations

  • Reserving is free. The price shown in the offer is the price you pay at the venue.
  • You get a code and a QR to show at pickup.
  • You can cancel in the app until the venue confirms the pickup. Please cancel if you can't come, so the food isn't wasted.
  • A venue may cancel a reservation for a good reason (for example, the item ran out). In that case you pay nothing.

4. Payment

You pay the venue directly at pickup, with the methods it accepts (cash or card). Lunvi doesn't collect money from customers and charges no service fee. The venue issues the receipt.

5. Pickup

You pick up the bag at the venue's address within the pickup time shown in the offer. After that, the venue may give the bag to someone else or throw it away. There is no delivery.

6. Food and liability

In short: Lunvi is only a bridge between you and the venue.

When you reserve, you buy the food from the venue, not from Lunvi. The sales contract is between you and the venue, and the venue is the seller. Lunvi doesn't prepare, store, pack, check or deliver the food. That's why the venue that sold it is responsible for the food's quality and safety, including any health problem it may cause.

  • Each venue is responsible for the products it sells: quality, safety, quantity, ingredients and the offer information, under the laws of the Republic of Moldova.
  • Surplus food may no longer be warm, and its appearance or portion may differ slightly from full-price items. The price is at least 30% off.
  • If you have allergies, read the description and ask the venue before eating.
  • Food complaints go to the venue. You can also write to us and we'll pass them on and help resolve them.
  • Lunvi is not responsible for the quality of the food or for venues' mistakes. To the extent permitted by law, Lunvi's liability is limited to the value of the reservation concerned.

7. Venues

  • Venues register with real company details, including their IDNO. Lunvi verifies venues before they appear on the map and may refuse or deactivate a venue that gives false details, doesn't honour reservations or sells unsuitable food.
  • Venues only publish food that is good to eat that day, described honestly, with a pickup time they keep.
  • During the launch period Lunvi is free for venues. Any future cost will be announced in advance and will only apply with the venue's agreement.

8. Accounts and fair use

You're responsible for your account details and password. You may not make fake reservations, use someone else's details or disrupt the service. Lunvi may block reservations or accounts used abusively. You can delete your account in the app at any time.

9. Personal data

How we use your data is described in our Privacy policy.

10. Changes and availability

We may change these terms; the new version is posted on this page with its update date. We may change, pause or end the service, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted operation.

11. Intellectual property

The Lunvi name, app, website and their content belong to Lunvi. Venues' offers, names and logos belong to the venues.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova. Your rights under consumer protection law are not limited by these terms. We always try to resolve disagreements amicably first.
